Hello! i am very much thankful to your answer to my question about the origin of carnival(kanaval) in Haiti.

Thank you so much! i do appreciate your work for the promotion of the Haitian culture.now i have a new question: i want to if we still have indian (the native people) on the soil of Haiti.

i am living in the Philippines.

in our University, sometimes we encounter people who pertinently ask this kind of question.last time, it happened that one haitian said that he knows some natives people (indians, des hommes à peau rouge) in Haiti.

according to him, these people are living somewhere in Alerte street, port-au-prince (ruelle Alerte, port-au-prince).
